Fishbowl Discussion: Continuous Testing
[presentation]
Summary:
Many people confuse continuous testing with test automation. That makes sense, because you cannot do continuous testing without automated tests. But it is much more. It requires that all of the tests to certify a feature are automated, part of the continuous integration pipeline and the results of those tests determine automatically when the next step should be run. In this fishbowl session we will discuss how participants have enabled this process at their companies. We will discuss common pitfalls and how to avoid them. We will discuss how to move from automation to continuous testing and other topics.
In a fishbowl discussion, the audience members sit in a circle of chairs in the middle of the room. Several brave souls will fill all but one of the chairs in the "fishbowl." When you want to join as a speaker, you enter the fishbowl and sit in the empty chair, and one of the other speakers will voluntarily leave so that one chair is always available for a new speaker. You'll hear ideas and experiences from experts and peers alike. Come join Adam Auerbach as he facilitates this exciting conversation. You can be as involved in the discussion as you wish—just watch from the audience, or jump into the fishbowl.
